Building mgr, Gary Leonard, has no integrity. When you meet him you won't know if he's very nice or pulling tricks on you. It's the latter. Notice the units have cracks in the walls. He'll tell you someone prob bashed it on their move out; it's b/c of the poor insulation. Your unit will be repaired and come winter you'll see it reappear. Look for the strange paneling. This is because there's condensation that builds up in the corners of the room so the paint peels. Gary's solution is to cover it with drywall and paint over it. Same thing in your closets where mold grows. Also get everything in writing, and then get a lawyer b/c even his word in writing means nothing. No promises will be fulfilled. Unless you have something causing immediate damage to your apt like a flood repairs will take 3-7 months. No joke. It will only be done immediately if it's something really minor and he'll just do it to hedge on the bigger repairs. You're a student or already have a job? Expect it to be your second career calling, stopping by and leaving notes begging for any repair like we had to do. Our neighbors say they just go to Home Depot and get tutorials to make repairs on their own. Ask anyone you see in the building- he'll do it slowly, piecemeal and wear you down, making every excuse in the book in the meantime. Even when he leaves notes saying he'll be in he doesn't come. He will try to charm you to get you into the building but you will slowly recognize him to be a liar. And if you need a repair btw May-Sept forget it. He'll tell you he's too busy getting the new apts ready....because everyone is moving out since they're so disgusted waiting for repairs. Mark my word, it'll wear you down, and Ogden won't care. Folks have already tried complaining to them and the company plays dumb. Look elsewhere unless you want to be conned. We're only writing this because if people had listed ratings on this apt for us to read we would have gone elsewhere and want to save you the trouble.In all fairness if you don't mind your apartment falling apart and being ignored the heat works well and pest control is good.
