Apartment Review for Gar Management Company - Milwaukee, WI

We have lived in a West Allis apartment owned by GAR Management, or should I say, Tom McCarron whose a slum lord for the past 17 months. These places are dumps. Our windows are missing screens. We have an infestation of silver fish in the bathroom because they won't fix anything. Not to mention the mold on the ceiling that they said isn't a big priority. And for the WHOLE time we've been living there our smoke detector doesn't work. They refuse to call back when you need something fixed. We've called numerous times about the bathroom and the smoke detector, but no one calls back. Then again, it doesn't help when our maintenace man is Tom's nephew and he can't fix anything to save his life. Tom is completely unprofessional and doesn't care about his tenants. He shows that by not fixing the apartments. Our neighbors have had work orders in to have things fixed for months and it still isn't taken care of. We're FINALLY moving and please believe that the Health Inspector and Building Inspector for West Allis have already been called. If you're looking for a complete sh** hole, give them a call. Tom will be happy to make your life hell.
