Apartment Review for Jefferson Block Apartments - Milwaukee, WI

I lived at Jefferson Block for one year. A friend of mine referred me to Jefferson Block, prior to moving in. We had to fight with management for 6 months to obtain the referral bonus that they had advertised all over the building. Of which, they only gave us half because of some lame excuse. Second, our apartment was in decent shape when we moved out. We still have not received our security deposit back. Third, management tried telling us that we could not move out in February while we had only signed a lease through January. Management, attempted to charge us for several extra months rent (after they had already re-rented the apartement). They sent us to a collection agency until we were forced to get an attorney involved. Immediately management stopped harassing us. NewLand (who manage Jefferson Block) are a bunch of crooks. If you move in, I guaruntee you will not be happy with your decision.
