Apartment Review for Maryland Park Apartments - Milwaukee, WI

I moved in and management was great. It changed hands three times before I left though and the last managers were anything but helpful. Safety was an issue. The parking garage has a patrol man at night, but within the firt two weeks I was there my bike that was locked up had the tires stolen, and I knew many othere people that had their cars broken into. It always took me about 10-15 minutes of driving around my block before I found a spot outside. Maintinence was iffy, sometimes things were fast, other times things never got fixed. Our apartment didnt have good insulation, the air conditioner unit leaked and our wall had big bubbles in it. We got new carpet when we moved in, but at a large inconvenience sine they schedule them to rip the carpet out at the same time they told use we could start moving in. Our neighbors were okay, weekends were usually noisey and we often heard one of our neighbors getting beat up by her boyfriend. One night I thought she was going to die. The cops were there frequently for many different reasons. It is okay for college kids.
