Apartment Review for Maryland Park Apartments - Milwaukee, WI

This apartment building has to have the most noise of any place that I have lived in, including dorms. The condition of the apartments is questionable at best, poor paint jobs, holes in the doors, poor tile work, lumps under the carpeting, and appliances being unkept. The walls must be paper thin since you can almost make out what the next door neighbors conversations are about. Our car was broken into in their "locked building parking" that we pay monthly for. Walking down the hall one can smell pot among other things being smoked. Management does practically nothing to control the noise level either. For marketing to a student population, one has to wonder how any responsible student could study with the sound of stereos and televisions coming through both walls. Getting into the place can be a problem also, since most of the time the front door's glass is smashed in, or the building locks are jacked. PLEASE AVOID, one can find much cheaper and more spacious apartments.
