Apartment Review for Prospect Towers - Milwaukee, WI

I do not live at this building, but I have had the worst rental experience in dealing with Katz. Management is unprofessional and extremely rude. They do not respond to maintenance calls. When I moved in, the apartment was never cleaned, even though they promised it would be ready to go on my move in date. There were also numerous maintenance issues in the apartment (no smoke detector...HELLO!) I talked to on-site managers about the problems and nothing was ever done. I finally had to contact Katz management office directly and it took over two weeks to get anything done. Besides the lack of maintenance, the on-site managers are the loudest people in the building (I have the luxury of living below them)! We've tried to address this with them, but they refuse to put forth an effort to be respectful of those around them. After that didn't work, numerous calls were made to the Katz office and certified letters sent with no response. Why Katz would value rude managers over paying tenants is beyond me. I have been renting for about 10 years and have NEVER experienced such unprofessionalism. All I can do is wait for my lease to be up, and reccommend to others that they SHOULD NOT RENT FROM KATZ!!!
