Apartment Review for Willow Court Apartments - Milwaukee, WI

I've lived at the Willow Court apartments for a year and a half. The only reason I'm moving is to be closer to work. After looking at tons of apartments, I know I was getting a good value for the money at this place ($560 - $585 for 2 bedrooms). The bedrooms are good size with big closets, a nice living room, cute bar-height counter area in the huge kitchen (compared to other apartments). It is quiet and the neighbors are friendly. There is a POOL which is well maintained and surprisingly not overrun with children in poopy diapers. Wanda and Frank, the managers, take good care of the place. Pool maintenance, yard work, anything we need fixed, they are always helpful and friendly. One thing I'd say it's lacking is that the neighborhood could be better. If you are used to living on the North Side, no problem -- you will know what to expect. But coming from the South Side or any suburbs you will be disappointed that you can't take a walk alone at night. We did have our cars broken into, and it seems some of the kids in the area have a penchant for stealing cars or anything metal they can get their hands on to pawn to the junk yard for metal scrap. All in all, I am kind of sad that I'm leaving this nice place.
